The Surprise!!!!!

All of you who thought that I was getting a horse will be dissapointed, but I am very excited to get this little guy!
It all started when a good friend/neighbor was at work and emailed me :"do you want a guinea pig? a girl at work here has one, for free with thew whole setup, some food, and even a leash so you can take him on walks" (okay so that wasn't the first email, there were TONS going back and forth that day about this little guy, so I just kind of compiled them :-) So, I talked to dad, and he said no, :-( he said it was because they stink, I never give up when I really, REALLY want something :-) so I went online and typed in google "do guinea pigs stink" I came up with lots of answers and to my delight, they all said "no they don't" so when dad got back home, I showed him some of the answers on the internet, and he said he would think about it! Then, at lunchtime the next day, I could tell he was thinking about saying yes, but he said he still had to think about it. But then, our neighbor, the one who got me into all of this :-) emailed me from work and said that when she got home, she wanted to talk to mom and dad, I knew then that I had a REALLY good chance of getting the little guy! Miss Cheri (ourt neighbor) bless her heart, talked mom and dad into letting me have him! I was so excited! So lastnight, we finaly got him!
So, without further adeau, introducing, Hemingway!:

He is the SWEETEST thing! he loves to be held and has never bitten before, even before I got him! I can't wait to show him to you all! I thought that it would be fun to bring him to family night, but then I thought of Crumpet, a shit-zu/schnauzer mix, and as most of you know, schnauzers are rat hunters, so I thought that that wouldn't mix very well, so you guys will just have to drop by and come see him!

So there you go, you know the big secret! I hope those of you who thought we were getting a horse, cow, or goat aren't TOO dissapointed! :-)
