And the answer is!!!
Spring!
Because in the spring, all of the lucious grass is comming out and it is so sweet that the horses just want to eat ALL of it! And when horses eat something really sweet really fast, it causes a lot of pain in their stomachs and if it goes untreated, it cam kill them.
