St. Patrick's Day party!

We had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day! We were so blessed to be able to share it with the Vancleaves! I will just tell you how the day went as I go through each picture!

Krista and Teddy came over at about 9:30, I went to the Clarkies for Emily because she was kind of the head cook :-) Teddy went and played with Bradley and The girls set to cookin'! When I got home We started Decorating. Here are some pictures of the decorations:

This was at the end of the "buffet" (Counter:-)
This was my favorite decoration on the table!
Now, I'll show you what we ate! CAUTION! IF YOU ARE HUNGRY, STOP HERE! :-)
The green clover cookies, an essential!
These crescent rolls were so good!

Green jello! (It was gone within a few minutes of it being out!)
Irish soda bread. I had never had it before but it was very good! It was so funny though, the first loaf they made, they actually put in 3tsp. of butter instead of 3TBS.! So when it was out of the oven and cooled, Emily picked it up and put it on the counter and she had to saw through it! She said "I could kill someone with this!" (That loaf was not served:-)
This was the second one made which was much softer!
This is the cole cannon, my Dad absolutely loved it!
The Brussel sprouts! I love Brussel sprouts!
And, Drum roll please!............. THE CORNED BEEF!
And of course, Irish soda, another essential!

So, after we ate, drank, and were merry :-) Emily, Sam, Brad, Me, William, Krista, Teddy and some neighbors of ours played outside! It was a lot of fun! We played "Grab the Bacon" and "Octopus" It was lots of fun!
So, over all, we were stuffed full with good food, and had a jolly good time!

  1. Sounds like you had a great time together! We had a small celebration with shamrock cookies, but nothing as fancy as you had!

  2. Hi Ali,

I got the camera to work, nothing was wrong with it or the computer, I just used the wrong cord for uploading the pictures!

I had a very wonderful time cooking and playing with you all!

I hope we can do it again sometime!
